Located in a very colourful part of the city, the hostel has a small, fenced terrace at the street entrance, through which you pass to the bar area. This is also the reception where you check in. The terrace allows you to have breakfast in the open air, or chill with a beer in the evening, while watching Istanbul life at close quarters. For me, it was easily the most attractive part, and forms a place to socialise with the other guests. The staff are friendly, cooperative and have good English. The rooms are both dormitory type and private. They are clean and well organised. Toilets are shared, but well-maintained. The dorms have a locked area to store backpacks and personal items. All rooms have air-conditioning. Living overnight anywhere in a "city that never sleeps" risks sharing a neighbourhood with noisy nightclubs nearby, but I wasn't disturbed at all by loud music late at night. For the traveller, it is an excellent choice, with a laundry next door, well-priced local "bufet" type restaurant across the road, a bank card cash outlet and a juice bar less than a minute away. Breakfasts are bufet-style, with tea and coffee. The bar is well-stocked, and optional music by request.

1- The hotel was in a great location, right in the heart of Taksim Square, allowing you to experience the real nightlife of Istanbul. 2- The breakfast was relatively good for the price; however, it was the same every day, and there were no orange juices. A positive point was the very delicious egg and tomato mix cooked by a talented, cute young boy. 3- The hotel is close to big SOC hypermarkets and the bus station. 4- I stayed in a private room. It was clean for a hostel, but there were no facilities inside the room. However, the stuff provided all your requirements. 5- The most important point I should mention is the warm and friendly environment downstairs that you con connect with several nations and cultures. The hotel staff were very kind and provided anything you needed.

Location! Very close to lots of things to do. I found myself walking around a LOT and seeing many sites in the area. Also close to the metro and lots of bus routes. Staff is very nice and helpful. I was supposed to check in at 10pm but because of flight delays I arrived at 2am and was able to check-in in the middle of the night. Lots places to buy alcohol if you were interested in that (even in the middle of the night) and close to ATMs. I booked a private room with a bathroom and patio. It got a little cold at night but was provided with extra blankets.

Breakfast was great, we had a feeling we are in a 5* hotel. Price is very good for such a central location. Toilets clean, always hot water , only wish that common area is bigger. We got a room in 5. Floor with a terrace overlooking the neigbourhood and we enyoyed it. Stuff was also very helpful and very fluent in English. One of the best hostels we have been to in whole Turkey. we came in for day, decided to stay for a week Best recommendations.

Really nice and friendly hosts, you feel welcome! Facilities were good: free towels, warm shower, a big kitchen to use, good balcony (on yhe fifth floor, room 13), You'll get free coffee/tea every morning, the laundry service was perfect and cheap (good dried clothing), WiFi was good.
